#ReliefPH Typhoon Maring: How to Help

By Sally Mae   Posted at  Wednesday, August 21, 2013   World Vision Philippines 6 comments

As promised, I listed down some information that I got online so we could help those that were affected by Typhoon Maring. You can just choose one that you will find the most convenient for now since the weather might not be that good to go out. The important thing now is we take small steps to help others.

You will see in their link that they have listed a lot of ways on how we can donate in cash or in kind. I think from their list, the most convenient will be the SMS donation and cash donation through 7-11 stores.
Text RED<space>AMOUNT to 2899 (Globe) or 4143 (Smart)
Text DONATE<space>AMOUNT<space>4-digit M-PIN<space>REDCROSS to 2882
You can donate the following denominations:
Globe: 5, 25, 100, 300, 500 or 1000
Smart: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500 or 1000

Here is the information of red cross from their website:

Email us:

Since I am an alumna of DLSU Manila, this is still my first option for donation/volunteer work. The link will show the details regarding what you may donate as part of their relief programs of the different La Salle Schools.
